![]() Set bonuses don't apply if they're sitting in your stash or Inventory. ![]() You must wear Set Items to receive Partial or Full Set Bonuses. These Set Bonuses can be different depending on the pieces being combined. Sets also offer Partial Set Bonuses, meaning that you will get extra bonuses if you are wearing 2 or more pieces of the set. In general, Set weapons tend to be underwhelming, although there are some key exceptions to this, often in Caster sets. Small sets without weapons are often the most versatile and can be fit in and around more powerful items. There are some sets that contain no weapons, and 1 set that's only a pair of weapons. There are 33 Sets in D2:R, usually comprised of a mix of armor and weapons. As you add pieces to the set, you add powers as well, with a very large increase in power if you manage to acquire the entire set. Some are targeted at specific classes or roles. This describes items that work together as groups of gear, nearly all named after an iconic figure in Diablo's lore. The hard items to obtain are the Armor as it is elite level armor and the Amulet. Sorceress reguarly choose either a full set or 3-piece set but you always see Tal Rasha in some form in a Sorceress' gear. It is probably the most famous of all sets because it's the most useful one.
